Fantasy Football: What a Great Waste of Time

I like watching football but for the most part I really only ever watched the Broncos.  The NFL has become a sport of extreme precision.  Did he or didn't he get two feet in before being shoved out of bounds?  All the plays are bang-bang.  Faster than most of us can see.

I love the precision.  I think the refereeing in the NFL is the best in professional sports.  The game is in Pittsburgh and I remember in years past that the wind at one end of Heinz field could change games.  A really good field goal would go up and change direction inexplicably.

Then a few years ago I joined a fantasy fooball league...

Now that I've joined a few fantasy leagues - one couple for money, the others for bragging rights.  My fantasy league this year is just for bragging rights but I still follow every game because I've got a player on just about every team.

I find myself rooting for just one more running touchdown or an extra unnecessary passing touchdown fantasy quarterback because he's the last guy on your roster to play and you need 3 mores points to win this week's matchup.
